What Every MILKSHAKE Should Be.

This deserves an award.

An award for being a richest, most delectable, most satisfying milkshake ever created.

French Baker's Chocolate Ice Cream Milkshake has just completely won me over. As if the milkshake itself was not enough, the beverage became even creamier and thicker with the addition of a scoop of chocolate ice cream with some chocolate sauce.

Words fail me at this point. Foodgasm.

Simplicity is Key to a Happy Tummy.

Who says you need to dine at a fancy restaurant and order a gourmet dish to have good food?

Sometimes, it's better to stay at home, and use simple, everyday ingredients and food to create a snack that everybody in the house would love.

That is what tita did when I started bugging her for some afternoon snacks. In our pantry, all we had was a half of a loaf of bread and some butter. Then . . . PING! Lightbulb!

She made us some Pan-Fried Buttered Bread. We took each slice of bread, spread a generous amount of butter on both sides, and stuck it to the pan to fry. After only a few short minutes, a crispy, buttery delight was born.

So, you see? There's a lot you can do with that bread and butter! Just be creative. ;)

Are You All Caked Up?

Well, well, well.

Sitting at Starbucks, sipping my tall hot Cappuccino, made me wonder how their cakes taste like. To feed my curiosity and my sweet tooth, I bought myself a slice of Starbucks' Classic Chocolate Cake.

Rich chocolate cake topped with smooth chocolate shaving.

No other words. Delish.

50s Pasta : The Carbonara Chronicles Part 2

Now is the time to try some pasta.

District 50's Carbonara is definitely one of my new faves.

Well-cooked spaghetti noodles with a creamy carbonara sauce, combined with ham, mushrooms, shredded parmesan cheese. Topped with bits of parsley, and with a side of two pieces of toasted, crisp garlic bread.

Pasta perfection.

One Small Step for Humankind, One BIG STEP FOR TITA and I.

Don't laugh.

I'm serious. Don't laugh.

You might think that you've just landed on the craters of the moon. Literally. But, let me tell you one thing. THAT.IS.NOT.THE.MOON. That right there, is the product of tita's attempt at homemade pancakes.

We had a box of Pilsbury Chocolate Chip Pancake batter, and we were hungry for some afternoon snacks. So, there it is. Chocolate Chip Pancakes looking like the moon itself. Wow. I have noooo idea how that happened.

But trust me, it's good stuff! It still has that fluffiness and chocolatey flavor.

If there's one thing I learned from all this, it should be to NEVER judge a book by its cover! HAHAHA.

Make Me My Sammich!

Last day of classes celebration continues in full swing!

To balance out the sweetness of all the dessert we were eating, I ordered Fudge's Bacon, Mushroom, and Cheese Sandwich. Toasted bread filled with strips of sizzling bacon, mushrooms, and melted cheese. GAAAH. I am in love with this sammich! HAHAHA.

Plus, the hand-cut potato wedges and ketchup really spoke for itself.

Soooooo goooooood.

Yours til the Cheese Cakes.

LAST DAY OF CLASSES people!

Celebrate. Celebrate. Celebrate!

To officially welcome the 2-week Christmas break, a big slice of some really good cake is needed.

And that's exactly what my friends and I found at Fudge. Displayed there on their dessert counter was probably the most beautiful cake I've ever seen.

Hello, Fudge's Chocolate Cheesecake! Magnificent cheesecake covered in the creamiest chocolate icing with chocolate sprinkles and topped with chocolate chips. I remember being speechless after I took the first bite.

Foodgasm at its finest.
