Come and Join Lee's Club! (California, 2013)

One Sunday afternoon, I was feeling . . . hungry.

A good family friend of ours took us out to have some afternoon snackin' at Lee's Sandwiches.

With an array of sandwiches in every shape and in every kind you can possibly imagine, you can't blame me for drooling and getting confused on what to order.

Finally, I decided on some classic Lee's Club Sandwich. Using a croissant bun, it was filled with fresh lettuce, folds of cold cuts, thick slices of cheddar cheese, pickles, and onions, topped with some mustard.

So gooooood! :))

Lady Godiva and Her Gift of Historical Scandal and Chocolate.

Grocery shopping at Walgreen's became much more interesting when I saw rows and rows of gourmet chocolate.

One particular brand that caught my attention was a big bar of Godiva Chocolatier. It has been constantly popping out and I've seen it at just about every shop, convenience store, and mall ever since I've been out here in California.

I picked up a bar and kept it as a reserve for times like these.

I'm talking about waiting for 4 hours, sitting at Walmart, silently bidding time. I was really thankful that I brought this bar of Godiva Chocolatier Milk Chocolate along with me to keep me sane. HAHA.

Needless to say, the smooth, creamy, melt-in-your-mouth taste of pure chocolate made the waiting bearable. Lol.

Grab a bar now!

Some Fierce ANIMAL Fries! Rawrrr. (California, 2013)

That moment when you want to desperately order more french fries.

There we were, just me and my mom, sitting across each other at In-N-Out, munching down on our burger and fries, when a thought struck me.

I had just remembered Kendall Jenner's Instagram post about this really good looking Animal Fries from In-N-Out. I begged my mom and she agreed to order a plate! Yey!

So, I went up to the counter AGAIN, and ordered us a plate of ANIMAL FRIES. I was bit skeptical at first on why it was named such, but when I saw it, boy, did I understand why.

A plate of freshly-cooked french fries topped with a generous amount of melted cheese, fried onions, and a mayonnaise-ketchup sauce. I think I just died and went to French Fry Heaven. HAHA.

I guarantee you that this was worth every dollar spent. You absolutely cannot eat at In-N-Out without ordering a plate of ANIMAL FRIES.

In and Out at In-N-Out! (California, 2013)

Ever since I saw Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and a whole bunch of Hollywood celebrities their foodie pictures at In-N-Out on Instagram and Twitter, I knew I had to visit this fastfood chain when I arrived at the States.

Might sound shallow, but believe it or not, they have the best BEST BEST burger and fries ever made and ever served in fastfood and burger history.

I couldn't resist to order their #3, which consists of a Double Double Cheeseburger (Two juicy, freshly-grilled beef with melted cheese, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce. and mayonnaise) and a plate of the best tasting fries I've ever had. Everything was totally non-greasy and freshly-cooked. Even the potatoes used for the fries were freshly peeled! HAHA. Plus, In-N-Out only cooks with a zero-cholesterol oil that they only use when there's an order up.

I applaud their sanitary, their impeccable service, and their delicious burger and fries! Brava!

You Know You're In America When Pizzas Grow This Big. (California, 2013)

You know those American movies where teenagers order a huge-ass box of pizza?

Well, that's exactly how I felt when I saw and opened this gigantic box of all-American pizza from Costco. Filled to the brim with pepperoni, sausages, green bell peppers, white onions, mushrooms, and oozing mozzarella cheese.

Now I know why ordering a pizza is such a big hit here! They're huge, they're affordable, and they certainly embody what every pizza should taste like! No regrets here!

So, whenever you decide to drop by Costco, don't forget to get a box of pizza!

Tuesdays with Tomi! (Eastridge Mall, California, 2013)

It's another buffet kind of day.

So lucky to taste San Jose's most prized buffet, Tomi Sushi and Seafood Buffet!

They offer over 30 different kinds of dishes; with an astounding variety of sushi and seafood! Personally, I loved the entire sushi bar, and of course, their dessert section.

After two plates of chicken teriyaki, clams, king crab, roasted duck, Japanese shrimp tempura, three kinds of sushi, chow mien, pad thai, and a whole lot of other dishes, I was finally ready for the most anticipated part of the day, the DESSERT PLATE.

-Green Tea Ice Cream : Smooth ice cream, with a subtle flavor of green tea. This is fast becoming a favorite, mind you.
-Fresh Strawberries : It's been a long time since I last ate fresh strawberries, and I'm definitely grabbing the chance now! Lol.
-Two Types of Strawberry Shortcake : Light cream cake topped with a thick layer of pure strawberry cream.
-Chocolate Cake : The crowd favorite, a slice of moist chocolate cake with light chocolate frosting.
-Egg Tart : I have to be honest and say that this was not as good as Macau's egg tart, but it was close enough.
-Chocolate Coffee Jelly : Soft mocha-flavored jelly and cream topped with chocolate icing.
-Butter Cookies : Crunchy and buttery. What every butter cookie should taste like.

This was a stellar experience! And I can recommend Tomi Sushi and Seafood Buffet to anyone who loves to eat! HAHA. You'll surely enjoy the variety of savory dishes, salads, and dessert served. Aaaand, make sure to drop by during Thursdays and Fridays for their special king crab and oysters!

Will be eating here again! That's for sure!

SIN CITY on my Breakfast Plate. (Las Vegas, 2013)

The one place where everything is pleasurably sinful - Las Vegas.

Last night was one helluva of an experience, alright. My senses can still recall the glittering neon lights, extravagant buildings, rows and rows of slot machines, the blaring sound of tonight's band playing alternative rock to get everybody on their feet, the smell of alcohol, smoke, and cheap perfume; the lavish hotels and casinos, and definitely the intoxicating sense of enjoyment found when you're having the night of your life in Vegas.

When I woke up today, I rewarded myself a big breakfast plate from the morning buffet at Sam's Town Hotel and Casino. Chocolate muffin, hash brown potatoes, corned beef hash, creamy scrambled eggs, strips of sizzling bacon, fluffy French toast, sausage links, strawberry yogurt, a banana, and a steaming mug of coffee.

For somebody who hasn't been eating breakfast since high school, I sure did a number on this one. HAHA.

Oh well, a crazy night warrants a crazy breakfast plate!
